The Wing Mountain Snow Play area is located about 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff along the U.S. 180. Turn left on Forest road 222b which is about 2.8 miles east of the Arizona Snowbowl turnoff.

Operating Hours are from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 7 days a week (when they have snow!)

Wing Mountain Facebook page is here

Click here for a current snow report from the Arizona Snowbowl.

Usage fees are $12 per vehicle for the 2012-13 season per day.

There is a large parking area where you can get ready or bring some chairs and a bit to eat at your car also. If you didn't bring your lunch, there is a well stocked trailer on premesis that has everything from hot cocoa, snacks and a nice firepit to warm up with while taking a break.

Several graded hills cater to sledders of all ages and there is ample room to build a snowman if you have the time. Or you can finish one that someone has already begun.

If you don't have a sled, you can rent one from them at the facility.

Some things to consider bringing with you would be mittens or ski gloves, nice waterproof boots or shoes with thick socks. a towel to dry off your shoes with and an extra set of shoes and socks because you are bound to have cold and wet feet when you get done. Also, If you are bringing kids, make sure you have something like a warm blanket or comforter to bundle them up with fo rthe ride home. Don't forget your camera!
