Located next to the Mather Campground, Trailer Village Campground offers 80 pull-through units with 20 & 30 amp hookups for trailers up to 40' in length. Trailer Village Campground is within walking distance of the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Tent camping is allowed. A dump station, laundry facility and full service store are all located a short distance away.

Reservations can be made in advance by calling (888) 297-2757. Reservations the day of can be made by calling (928) 638-2631. Registration is done at the entrance to Trailer Village Campground. Reservations during the winter months (December - March) are not taken and the campground is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a maximum of two vehicles, six people, three tents are allowed per site. Also, any vehicle towing another vehicle such as a pop-up tent trailer or a motorhome towing a car is considered two vehicles.

Campfires are limited to the grills on site only, no ground fires are allowed. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash the entire time. Rangers have been known to fine owners who do not have their pets on a leash.

Temperatures can at the Grand Canyon can be very low (teens) during the winter months and very high (100+) during the summer months.

Directions

From the south entrance follow the road for about three miles to the stoplights, turn left onto Center Road. Travel ¼ mile; turn right onto Market Plaza Road. The campground is about one mile down Market Plaza Road. From the east entrance follow the road 25 miles, turn left at the "T" intersection onto South Entrance Road. Travel about ½ mile to the stoplights and turn right onto Center Road. Travel ¼ mile; turn right onto Market Plaza Road. The campground is about one mile down Market Plaza Road.
